Barbiegirl19 | Sometimes I feel like people think that I'm too happy purposely when really it's just me naturally. My mom most of the time growing up was always so happy and hyper and exciting and it's really rubbed off on me especially now that I'm getting older. I just would like to know what you guys think? Do happy people make you happy or annoy the heck out of you? |
Doux Rêve | There's happy and "happy". Some people are naturally peaceful / content - that to me, is a form of happiness. And then there are people who are.. "hyper" - kind of like a bipolar person during their manic phase - overly joyful, foolish, arrogant, and so on. If you're truly happy and someone has a problem with that, it's probably because they aren't happy themselves and feel uncomfortable with / threatened by your positivity. |
Barbiegirl19 | Which is truly unfortunate. I'm the poster child for life is too short to be so negative and so hateful. I despise with a capital D people like that. |
mirage29 | awwww heck!!! Joy! Joy! JOYYYYY!!!! There ain't no such thing 'wrong' with 'excessive happiness' in moments otherwise-filled with sustained griefs and pain. We are human, and we must 'let go' of these stresses from time to time. The body could get sick when hardened by adversity.... We need Life to flow.... not constriction all the time. In fact, I think it's very wrong to place SERIOUS psych labels on 'what you view as' the behaviors of people.... You have no idea?! --- Sometimes life is heavy, and getting Joy to release itself is "medicinal"... to self AND the community! I say for Today---, LET the 'endorphins' RIPPPPPPP!!! |
Barbiegirl19 | Yay!!!!! You just made me really happy with your happiness. Its spectacular! Thank you for being an awesome person. We need more happy genuine people in this world |
mirage29 | YESSSS!!! Barbiegirl19!!! And you are one of them! yay! You are filled with Life!! Bring it forth!! It's ON! WITH THE CONTAGION!!!! haha~~ |
Barbiegirl19 | Hahahahaa but seriously thank you we need more people to help spread the joy joy joy jooooooooyyyy lol |
teasel | I've been naturally happy, and I've been the more manic sort.. I prefer the first one, and I miss it. |
Hera | We can get it back! Happiness is contagious! Everybody loves happy people, except miserable ones who love misery's company. They make you feel good, they uplift you, happy people light our lives! When I'm feeling low I listen to upbeat music and look at funny cat pictures! 100% guarantee to make me feel happy again. |

Randall | Too much happiness is like too much cake. |

Not necessarily. I love cake and never get enough of it. I'm not saying that I don't ever get sad or upset. Those are natural human emotions so of course I go through those as well. I'm just a very optimistic person and don't like to dwell on negative things and was just curious as to what everyone though about a "too happy" person which I still feel is never possible happy people make the world go round |
Randall | That's what I'm saying--you can never get too much happiness. |

Oh okay the person who responded after you really confused me lol I'm sorry |
hippichick | I used to date a guy, a Pises sun with a heck of alof of Aries in him. He, had a major heart attack at 41, was disabled soon after, had to live with a pacemaker and an AICD (to shock him out of a potentially arrhtymia.) He was always so happy, but neath those happy overtones I always felt he was overcompensating for his sadness in life, loosing his health, his wife, his kids, becoming indigent.... Yea, he would to come off to everybody as the happiest person ever, but I saw it as a front, even unknown to himself. But, in answer to your question; genuine happiness is a great thing, but if it is a cover up for something even the individual doesnt even realize, it can be very harmfull t~ )~( |
